Welcome all.  This site is for all persons interested in the camellia plant.

Please join us at any of our meetings which are scheduled on

2nd Tuesday of each month from September to April.

It's here!

Just received from the printer and ready for purchase, The Brookhaven Camellia Society "Recipes from our Hospitality Room" Cookbook.

This is a 153 page collection of recipes from our Camellia Society members and friends.  If you have attended the hospitality room while waiting to judge, you have probably sampled many of the dishes that are included.  A copy can be yours.  Price: $12/book or two copies for $20.

Special thanks to Billie Smith and her committee for taking on this project of collecting, sorting, proofing and getting this book printed.  Also, to all of those who contributed recipes, the pages would have been blank without your unselfish contribution of recipes.

And, the winner is:

Charlotte Allen - Wesson, MS

Thanks to everyone for making the 46th Annual Brookhaven Camellia Show a success.

We had 1055 Blooms entered and more than 500 visitors over the two days. We received very nice comments about the bloom quality and the hospitality.  Here are a few pictures from the 2009 Show.

Kaye Kaberlein and Shirley Estes had head table blooms at the recent Covington, LA Camellia Show.

There were more than 800 blooms at the show so competition was tough.

Congratulations to both for their winning blooms.
