Welcome all. This site is for all persons interested in
the camellia plant. Please join us at any of our meetings which are
scheduled on 2nd Tuesday of each month from September to April.
Our
Christmas meeting will be December 9, 6:30 p.m. at Shirley Estes home (504
Becker St. in Brookhaven). Bring a "pick-up" food dish as join us to get
us in the holiday mood.
Billie
Smith is working on the "Camellia Christmas Tree" --- Stop by the Lincoln County
Library to see what she has put together for our group.
Looking
to our Show in February ... invitation letters sent to 65 camellia judges and
their spouses. If most of the judges again bring their typical cargo of
camellia blooms, we should have another great display.

First camellia show this season
(2008 -09) will be in Biloxi on November 22.... Do you have a few blooms to
enter?
The
Gulfport Camellia Society held their November 17, 2007 show at the Biloxi MSU
Extension Building this year. Here are a
couple of pictures from their show.
 
Our
2009 Brookhaven Camellia Show will be February 7 & 8 at the Brookhaven
Recreation Department.
